Its 44 hearty cheers as the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei adds another year. After celebrating with wheel chair basket ballers, he received members of the Delta Youth frontiers. Happy birthday our Amiable Speaker.

Miss West Africa Nigeria 2013 emerges....gets a brand new KIA Rio car......


Dsinatra Ent put up a professionally packaged event that unveiled the winner of 2013 Miss West Africa Nigeria at the prestigious Grand Hotel Asaba. The event was fun filled with spectacular performance from Frank D Don, MC Totori, Abuja based Lil Benz, dance performance by C.I Squad, Meshack of 911, Slim Joe ,Uti Nwachukwu and Ejiro of Kiss FM Abuja made sure the guests had a swell time and a star performance by Lynxxx.

Tribe Magazine was on ground to cover the event that saw Miss Sophie Ann Diete-Spiff emerge as the 2013 Miss West Africa Nigeria. Sophie is a 24years old graduate of Niger Delta University, Bayelsa who loves designing clothes, singing, travelling and meeting people.

1st runner up Ikekhuame Rachael is a 21 years undergraduate of Delta State University who loves dancing and singing. 2nd runner up Isiofia Chioma Stephanie is a 21 years old linguistic and communication undergraduate of University of Port Harcourt. Miss photogenic Omone Otoide is a 20 years old undergraduate of University of Benin who loves solving puzzles and poetry. Queen Celestine emerged as Miss Amity.

Late singer Goldie was laid to rest ,February 25th at Vaults and Gardens cemetery in Ikoyi.


 Goldie Harvey was finally laid to rest amidst tears from love ones and fans. President of Kennis Music , Kenny Ogungbe led the hearse. The coffin was carried from the Hearse to the grave yard where a prayer was offered for the repose of the soul of the departed. The short ceremony ended with the dust to dust .Her husband, Mr. Harvey was on hand to pour ashes into the grave.

In attendance were some notable media and showbiz personalities like Bashorun Dele Momodu of Ovation,Mayor Akinpelu and Kunle Bakare.Others were D J Jimmy Jatt,Julius Agwu.Weird MC,Gbenga Adeyinka,Seun Olokuteyi,,Jumobi Damijo,Denrele ( who was a shadow of his old self),Chris Ubosi of The Beats, Classic,Naija FM,Olisa Adibua.Eedris Abdulkadir later arrived after the event.

The contestants vying the coveted Miss West Africa Nigeria crown paid a courtesy visit to the Speaker of Delta State house of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei. The stylish speaker received them in his office and spent some time advising the contestants on the need to take the pageantry seriously as it could be a door opener to a world of opportunities for them.

Another shocker for Naija entertainment as Justice Esiri goes home....




Nollywood actor, Justus Esiri has died,

His son, music artist, Sidney Onoriode Esiri better known as Dr SID, updated his Twitter page:


Esiri was a Member of the Order of the Niger (MON), became famous for his role as the headmaster in popular 80′s sitcom; The Village Headmaster and has starred in several Nollywood movies like ‘The three widows’, ‘Bad egg’, ‘I am the king’,'Sons of the state’ and many more.

Esiri from Urohobo in Delta State, Nigeria attended Urohobo College for his secondary school education where he picked up interest in acting as a member of the Debating and Dramatic society. He studied Engineering in Germany. Back in Nigeria, he translated and read news in German in Voice of Nigeria.

Esiri is survived by his wife and six children.
