Members of Delta frontiers, a socio- political organization based
in Asaba, recently donated some food items and toiletries to the Mother of
Divine Grace Orphanage Asaba as part of the Easter celebration.
The items presented to the children in the Orphanage
include: cartons of indomie noodles, bags of rice, cartons of soft drinks, some
spring bed foams, cartons of toilet rolls, bags of detergents, cartons of soap,
New Testament bibles, some cartons of “bobo” drinks and biscuits.
Presenting the items on behalf of the group, Comr. Donald
Igudia said as part of the Easter celebration, the group found out time to come
and spend quality time with the children of the orphanage.
Igudia said as part of promoting change in the society, the
group decided to touch lives of the less privileged this Easter period, to show
love especially to those who do not have parental love.
Responding, the matron of the orphanage, Rev. Sis Agnes
Effiom, expressed gratitude to the members of Delta Frontiers for putting
smiles on the faces of the children at this period of Easter. She prayed that
the good Lord will reward the members and promised to use the items to the
benefit of the children.

Delta frontiers is a youth advocacy organization that is
poised to affect positive change in the society by indulging in activities that
will advance political re-orientation and moral education amongst youths in
Delta State.
Delta frontiers are poised to carry out functions that would
assist in nation building, especially in Delta State.
Delta frontiers has as its major objective “to re-orientate
the youths of Delta State on their responsibility towards building a greater
Delta State”
The group is made up young professionals from all works of
life and membership is open to all youths of Delta Origin.
